2-Gun Class
G.I's 2-Gun Class will give the students an opportunity to hone their skills with a pistol and a carbine. Students will fine tune the fundamentals of marksmanship and weapon management, to include reloading and malfunction clearing. Students will shoot at multiple targets, engage targets of opportunity, and work on transitioning between the two weapons. This class is designed to meet the needs of beginning to advanced shooters.
Handgun Requirements: Previous handgun experience is necessary. Students are required to have a basic understanding of how to handle a pistol and have a good foundation of firearms safety. Students will need to bring a pistol, a strong-side hip holster, at least two magazines, a magazine pouch (preferred but not required) and 150 rounds of ammunition.
Carbine Requirements: Previous carbine experience is necessary. Students are required to have a basic understanding of how to handle a carbine and have a good foundation of firearms safety. Students will need to bring a semi-auto carbine, (.223, 5.56, 7.62, .308, .300 or comparable) a sling for the carbine, at least two magazines, a magazine holder (preferred but not required) and 150 rounds of ammunition.
Eye protection, ear protection, sturdy footwear and a photo I.D. is also required. After registration is complete, students will receive a confirmation email with a receipt that will contain the exact address and other class information.
