Shotgun Gunfighting Techniques
The G.I. shotgun gunfighting techniques course covers all essentials of shotgun gun handling and marksmanship. Students will fine tune the fundamentals of marksmanship and weapon management, to include reloading and malfunction clearing. Students will shoot at multiple targets, engage targets of opportunity, and be introduced to various types of shotgun rounds. This class is designed to meet the needs of beginning to intermediate shooters.
Requirements: Previous shotgun experience is not necessary. Students are required to have a good foundation of firearms safety. Students will need to bring a pump or semi-auto shotgun, (12 or 20 gauge) 75 rounds of birdshot (#7, 7 ½, or 8), 25 rounds of slug, eye protection, ear protection, sturdy footwear and a photo I.D. After registration is complete, students will receive a confirmation email with a receipt that will contain the exact address and other class information.
