Carbine Gunfighting Techniques
The G.I. Carbine Gunfighting Techniques course covers all essentials of carbine gun handling and marksmanship. Students will fine tune the fundamentals of marksmanship and weapon management, to include reloading and malfunction clearing. Students will shoot at multiple targets, engage targets of opportunity, and be confident in zeroing their carbine. Students will not shoot past 50 yards. This class is designed to meet the needs of beginning to intermediate shooters.
Requirements: : Previous carbine experience is not necessary. Students are required to have a good foundation of firearms safety. Students will need to bring a semi-auto carbine, (.223, 5.56, 7.62, .308, .300 or comparable) a sling for the carbine, at least two magazines, a magazine holder (preferred but not required) 200 rounds of ammunition, eye protection, ear protection, sturdy footwear and a photo I.D. After registration is complete, students will receive a confirmation email with a receipt that will contain the exact address and other class information.
